Gary R. Bollinger

 Gary R. Bollinger, 72 of Saxonburg passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at his home. 
 
 Born August 16, 1949 in Cooperstown, PA, he was the son of the late Howard L. Bollinger and Kathryn Mink Bollinger.
 
 Gary was a US Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He worked as an assembler for J.K. Hydraulics. He was a member of the VFW Post 7376 in Saxonburg, PA.
 
 Surviving are his daughter, Erin Wojnar, step daughter, Melanie Ebig of Myrtle Beach, SC, siblings, William Bollinger of Bakerstown, Jeff Bollinger of Wichita Falls, TX, Bruce Bollinger of Valencia, Donna Schultz of Valencia,  Myrtle Flynn of Huntington Beach, CA, and Carol Ann Bollinger of Jacksonville, FL, 6 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother who raised him, Carol Neeley, his wife, Sherry Greenawalt Bollinger, siblings, Jim Bollinger, Wilda Yoak, Virginia Hill, Janet Ross and  Catherine Moser Salada. 
 
There will be no visitation 
 
 Interment with military honors will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors, the It's About the Warrior Foundation or the VFW Post 7376 Saxonburg.
