Gary "Sonny" Fedon

Gary "Sonny" Fedon went home to be with Jesus on May 26, 2026, at the age of 73, holding hands with his wife of 50 years, Linda (Paese) Fedon.  
Born on September 11, 1952, Gary built a life marked by success, dedication, generosity, perseverance, and deep love for his family. Originally from the Universal section of Penn Hills, he later moved his family to Lower Burrell.  Some of his most treasured moments were spent at his lake house, where he enjoyed boating, quiet mornings on the porch, and gathering with family to create lasting memories.
Gary was the devoted husband of Linda Fedon. Together, they built a family rooted in love, faith, commitment, and showing up for one another through every season of life. 
He was a proud father to his five daughters: Amy (Chad) Bollinger, Gina (Brooks) Bollinger, Melanie (Daniel) Turk, Lisa (Kenny) Smith, and Kristen (Jake) Weidner. He was also a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren; Hailey, Natalie, Alexa, Jacob, Megan, Allyson, Kyle, Tyler, Jonathan, Jackson and Shiloh. He was also a great-grandfather to Zaiden. 
Gary is also survived by his loving sister Judy (Tom) Kelly. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Rita (Santora) Fedon and his older brother, Joseph Fedon.
Gary loved Jesus with all his heart. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he found great joy in sharing with others about Jesus and the work God had done in his life.
Everyone who knew Gary knew without a doubt he loved his family. He worked hard to provide and gave generously; his determination and persistence shaped much of his life. In 1991, Gary and Linda proudly opened G&L Motors, where he lived out his dream of working with his family until his final days. He passed on his knowledge, wisdom, and legacy in ways that will continue for generations to come. 
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at New Life Christian Ministries, 139 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, PA 16056, on Thursday May 28th from 4:30 PM-7:30 PM, with a celebration of life service immediately following at 7:30 PM, officiated by Pastor Chris Marshall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Life Christian Ministries.
