Genevieve Slater Nelson

Genevieve Slater Nelson, 97 of Valencia passed away on  February 18, 2025 at Concordia of Cabot. 
 
 Born April 3, 1927 in West Bend , PA,  she was the daughter of Jacob Roebuck and Caroline Roll Roebuck.
 
  She was the owner of the Saxonburg Antique Store. She was proud to be apart of the WWII effort in manufacturing. She was a member of Holy Sepulcher Church. She enjoyed restoring old building, she also enjoyed farming and gardening.
  
 Surviving are her three sons Richard (Linda) Slater of Savannah, GA, Jeffrey Slater of Valencia,   Jonathan Slater of Saxonburg, two grandson, Daniel  Slater of Saxonburg, Michael Slater of Atlanta, GA.

 She is preceded in death by her two husbands Richard Slater and Andrew Nelson, her parents, and 8 brother and sisters.
