Gerald H. "Smitty" Smith

 Gerald H. "Smitty" Smith, 72, of Cabot, passed away on December 23, 2024.
 
 Born September 6, 1952 in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Melvin "Elzy" Smith and Betty Goepfert Crabtree.
 
Smitty had worked for Moonlight Mushroom and Ron's Appliance Parts and Service.  He was a former member of the Sarver Vets.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending Knoch football games, spending time with family and friends.
 
 Surviving are his son, Jason Smith of East Brady, his daughter, Kristen (Justin) Macey of Pittsburgh, one sister, Patricia (Louis) Rome of Cabot, and four granddaughters, Megan Smith, Emily Smith, Lennon Macey and Icelyn Macey.

He is preceded in death by his parents
 
 Friends will be received on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
     
 Services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Chaplain Christy Thompson officiating.
 
 Interment will follow in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
