Geraldine Colleen Wylie Wiefling, 87, of Butler passed away on June 28, 2025 at her home.
Born June 15, 1938 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Bartley Joseph Wylie and Madeline Elder Wylie-Rutkowski.
Geraldine worked in the Accounts Payable Department for Koppers. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Herman. Geraldine was a Wife, Mother, Farmer, Artist and Weaver. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, weaving, jewelry, poetry, writer, history, gardening and her animals. She especially loved her Wishing Well Farm.
Surviving are three sons, Brian (Laurie) Wiefling of Butler, Robert (Lorri) Wiefling of Butler and Bradley Wiefling of Butler, her daughter, Bridgette (Mark Schiesser) Wiefling of Freeport, "sister"-in-law, Phyllis Ann Wylie of Renfrew, 10 grandchidlren, 9 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald D. Wiefling, on March 14, 2019, and one brother, James Bartley Wylie
Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 12:00 pm at the St. Mary's Church in Herman with Fr. Ward Stakem, OFM Cap. officiating.
