Gregory W. McCalip

Gregory W. McCalip, 62, of Butler passed away suddenly on October 11, 2022 at his home.
 
Born September 30, 1960 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of David  McCalip and Joanne Munro McCalip.
 
Greg was a self employed carpenter. He was the President of the  PA Freestyle Ski Association, a former coach in the Knoch Area Soccer Association, and assisted coaching in the Saxonburg Area Baseball Association.  Greg enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing and the country life.  Greg was a great family man and was loved by many friends.  
 
Surviving are his wife, Wendy (Appman) McCalip whom he married August 28, 1991, his children, Melanie, Jessica  and Chance, and his sister, Alane (Steve) Malerick of Hudson, OH.

He is preceded in death by his parents. 
 
 Friends will be received on Sunday, October 16, 2022, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
     
 Services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Roddy officiating.
 
 Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PA Freestyle, Knoch Area Soccer Association or the Saxonburg Area Baseball Association.
