Howard Morris Obituary

Howard W. "Butch" Morris, 77, of Saxonburg passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born May 29, 1943 in Cabot, PA, he was the son of John L. Morris and Grace Campbell Morris.

Butch graduated from Knoch High School in 1962. He was a member of the Cabot U.M. Church. He was employed by Pullman Standard in the Paint Shop and as a Custodian at the South Butler County School District. He was a hardworking man and would lend a hand to anyone who asked. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Butch is survived by his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Humes Morris, his daughter, Rhonda Sue (Richard) Swartz of Sarver, and her children Sophia Grace Swartz of Sarver, and Jason R. Swartz of Freeport, his son, Michael W. Morris of Saxonburg, and his son Kier Michael Morris of Saxonburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gale Morris and one sister, Una Marie Sub

Private service will be held at Mt. Airy Cemetery in Natrona Heights.
