Obituary
It is with great sadness we share the passing of Irene (Rezzarday) Slahor, 101, of Saxonburg. She passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023, leaving behind a lifetime of love and memories.
Irene was a kind and sweet soul who was dedicated to the care of her family. She was a memorable and beloved companion to her daughter Carol and grandson John. There is so much that can be said about Irene, but we will profoundly miss her gentle spirit, kind heart, and bright smile. For this, we are forever grateful that she was put in our lives.
Irene is survived by her daughter, Carol O’Brien Epps, grandson, John O’Brien, sister, Lilian Gwosden, and brother, Joseph Rezzarday Jr. Additionally, many nieces and nephews.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Rezzarday, beloved husband, John, son, John Edward, and sister, Francis Henderson.
Irene will be dearly missed by friends and family and will always be very fondly remembered.
