James Davliakos

 James P. Davliakos of East McKeesport, formerly of Wilkins Township, Pittsburgh, passed away on September 15, 2025.  

James attended the University of Pittsburgh and completed his nursing training at Lenape Tech. James was a longtime member of the Presentation of Christ Greek Orthodox Church in East Pittsburgh, PA where he had served in the alter and volunteered many times at their annual festivals. James was given many challenges in life yet overcame them over and over again. James bravely read a Biblical passage aloud at his dear mother’s funeral despite it being a time of enormous grief. James will be remembered for caring deeply about others, especially his family, and will be very much missed.

James is survived by his brother George (Diane) Davliakos of Valencia, PA, niece Leia, nephews Nick, Paul, Theo, his brother John (Margaret) Davliakos of Stevensville, MD, nephew Zachary, sister Constance Davliakos of Erie, PA and nephew Nicholas. 

James is preceded in death by his father Paul G. Davliakos and his mother Peggy Davliakos.

 Family and friends are welcome at his funeral service at the Nativity of the Theotokos Monastery in Saxonburg, PA on September 20th at 4pm and the burial will take place afterwards at the same location.
