James A. Sweeny

 James A. Sweeny, 68, of Saxonburg passed away on  May 18, 2023 at his home.
 
 Born August 7, 1954, he was the son of James E. Sweeny and Carrie Cooper Sweeny.
 
Jim worked as a press adjuster for Du-Co Ceramics in Saxonburg.   He enjoyed gardening, upcycling, history and watching classic movies. Jim was especially proud of being a Freeport boy.
 
 Surviving are his long time companion, Glenda Keck of Saxonburg, his sister, Kathy Wendell of Fenelton, his nieces and nephew, Michelle Roofner of East Brady, Lisa Hiles of Cowansville, Rob Bowser of Kittanning and Kelli Rhoderick of Fenelton.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Bowser 
 
A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.    
 
 Memorial donations may be made to any animal shelter.
