Joanne F. Bricker, 79, of Cabot passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 23, 2026.
Born September 3, 1946 in Winfield, she was the daughter of Joseph C. Brozenick and Evelyn M. Freehling Brozenick.
Joanne was a talented cook and baker. Joanne enjoyed vacationing, gambling and reading. She was always at her most content spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother to her three children and an amazing mother in law. The only thing she cherished more than her children were her grandchildren. Over the years she gained more “bonus” kids and grandkids than could ever be counted. She was lovingly referred to as Muma and Meemaw by all of them. Joanne was a devoted wife to Richard for nearly 60 years. Their marriage is a true testament of strength and love. If you were blessed to cross paths with Joanne over the years you surely experienced her sense of humor and a love that is rare. Joanne had a spirit that made even strangers feel like they knew her forever. She left a sassy footprint on the heart of all that met her.
Surviving are her husband, Richard C. Bricker whom she married May 7, 1966, two sons, Bryan (Jodi) Bricker of Ravenna, OH and Brent (Kelly) Bricker of Cabot, her daughter, Erin (John) Smith of Jamestown, PA, six grandchildren, Alysha Bricker, Madison (Bob) Larrimer, Jarrett (Katelyn) Bricker, Hattie (Jessica) Smith, Colt Smith and Sage Smith and her great-granddaughter, Kadence Boulton.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betty Zevada and Judith Peters.
Friends will be received from Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, 11:00 am at the Cabot Church, Cabot, PA, with Rev. Jonathan Fehl officiating.
Interment will follow in Zion Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Cabot Church 707 Winfield Road Cabot, PA 16023.
