John R. Booher, 82, of Sarver passed away on March 6, 2025 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born March 20, 1942 in New Kensington, he was the son of Charles Booher and Mary F. Early Booher.
John was a member of the Pipeliners Union Local #798, traveling all over the country for work. He was especially proud of working on the Alaskan Pipeline. He enjoyed fixing things, especially restoring tractors and showing them.
Surviving are his son, Jeffrey (Carrie) Booher of Sarver, three daughters, Joyce (Robert, III) Porter of Centerville, IN, Joanne (Steve) Salvatora of Gibsonia, and Jessica (Robert) Eury of Butler,seven grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, Nickolas, Katelynn, Megan and Steffany, Aubrey, eight great-grandchildren, Emma, Brooklyn, Kendall, Paisley, Weston, Madilyn, James and Haylin and his long-time companion, Roxanne Freehling.
He is preceded in death parents, and his wife, Catherine Booher on August 1, 2017.
Friends will be received from Sunday, March 9, 2025, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Services will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, 11:00 am at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA, with Bishop Alan J. Ion officiating.
Interment will follow in Summit Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
