Judith Shelton

 Judith D. Shelton, 72, of Cabot, passed away on April 12, 2025 at the Allegheny Valley Hospital. 
 
 Born May 5, 1952 in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Paul Schmeider, Sr. and Dorothy Irene Edwards Schmeider.
 
Judy worked as a Manager for Moonlight Mushroom until its closing.  She then became a CNA at Sunnyview.   She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver, the Sarver Vets Club and the Outdoor Life Lodge.   She enjoyed going to the casinos, traveling, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates and especially spending time with family.
 
 Surviving are her husband, Dennis C. Shelton, whom she married March 27, 1971, her daughter, Dena (Mike Gallagher) Shelton of Cabot, her son, Robert Shelton of Cabot, three grandchildren, Jenna, Samantha and Abby, her siblings, Paul (Alice) Schmeider, Jr. of Cabot, Doris McKinney of Cabot and Ray (Pat) Schmeider of Georgia, also many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ruthann Kammerer and one brother John Schmeider.

Visitation was private. 

 Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
