Karen A. Claypool

 Karen A. Claypool, 70, of Saxonburg passed away on  June 11, 2026 at UPMC St. Margaret. 
 
 Born November 22, 1955 in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Paul  Vawryk and Helen Burns Vawryk .
 
Karen had worked as a production worker for Bayer, retiring in 2021. She enjoyed cooking, baking and being outside.
 
 Surviving are her son, Jason Claypool of Springdale, her daughter, Samantha Claypool of Saxonburg; one sister, Kathy (Lee) Bures of Saxonburg; one brother, Richard (Kathy) Vawryk of Brackenridge, and two grandchildren, Savannah Claypool and Ryan Claypool.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
 
As per Karen's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
