Karen Lee Johnston Harkless

 Karen Lee Johnston Harkless, 66, of Sarver passed away on June 7, 2024 at her home.
 
 Born September 17, 1957 in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Dwight Johnston and Della Greenert Johnston.
 
 Karen had worked at Penn United.  She loved people especially kids and animals, having a heart of gold and kindest person you ever knew.  She was a good cook, she loved to bake and make candy.  
 
 Surviving are her husband, Millard Harkless, whom she married September 20, 2007, her siblings, Barbara Johnston of Sarver, David (Helen) Johnston of Freeport and Teresa (Jeffery) Royer of Cadogan.  Karen was a second mother to, Jennifer (Roy) Dunlap, Misty Johnston, Patrick Tomanio, Brittiny Johnston, Heather Johnston and Rain Royer.  She was step-mother to Dessann Harkless, Mileia Harkless and Clinton Harkless she is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Dawson, Colton, Aiden, Laila, Nick, Natalie, Ray, Shahona, Jake, Saphia, Selena, Sabrina and Layton.

She is preceded in death by her parents. 
 
 Friends will be received on  Tuesday, June 11, 2024, 2-4 pm with services to follow at 4:00 pm  at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
