Katherine Evans Obituary

Katherine Diane Evans, 72 of Cabot, formerly of Hyde Park, passed away on June 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 26, 1948 in Leechburg, Gilpin Twp., she was the daughter of the late James and Marie Burns Umbaugh.

She worked at Community Market, Lower Burrell. Katherine loved crocheting blankets.

Surviving are her loving children, Amy (Christopher) Sunday of Cabot, Martha (the late Timothy Dickey) Evans of Natrona Heights, and Steven (Chasity) Evans of Hyde Park, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sisters, Dorothy Rutheford of Pueblo West, CO and Tammy Lee of New Kensington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Evans, her brothers, Leroy and John Umbaugh and her sister, Linda Bish.

There will be no visitation or services.

Private burial will be held in Brookland Cemetery.
