Kayla Yvonne (East) Whittaker

 Kayla Yvonne (East) Whittaker, 28, of Kittanning passed away, along with her son Ryland, on  February 24, 2025 as the result of  a house fire.
 
 Born June 10, 1996 in Kittanning, she was the daughter of  Sheri (Delp) Frederick and step-daughter of the late Eric Smith.
 
Kayla was a devoted mom. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and drawing.  
 
Surviving are her mother, Sheri (Greg) Frederick of Butler; her sons, Levi and Grayson; her brothers and sisters Nathan (Brandy) East, Jackie (Ryan) Lerner, Diana (Steven) Swank and Sean Cravener, her maternal grandparents Walter and Carol Delp, her aunt Jeanette and her uncles Matthew and Stephen.
