Kenneth E. Mikolas, D.D.S., 63 of Sarver passed away on April 18, 2022 at the Allegheny General Hospital.
Born October 7, 1958 in New Kensington, PA, he was the son of the late Edward S. Mikolas and Georgina H. Mikolas.
Dr. Mikolas was a graduate of Knoch High School, Class of 1976. He went to the University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate, graduating in 1980. He attended Northwestern University in Chicago and received his doctorate in dentistry in 1985. He started his own dentistry practice in 1985 in Leechburg where he was still currently practicing.
Dr. Mikolas was a member of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Joseph Worship Site, where he counted the weekly offering after Mass. He was also a member of the Leechburg Lions and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and going to camp with his son, dad, cousins and uncles.
Surviving are his loving wife, Victoria Prusick Mikolas, who he married August 15, 1997, his son, Alexander K. Mikolas of Sarver, son, Gary J. (Kellie) Patz of Sarver, daughter, Brandy Molloy of Arkansas, a grandson, Carson Molloy of Arkansas, sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Goldscheitter of Cabot and Diane (Ernest) Bragiel of Freeport and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his longtime employee and "work wife" Beverly Illar of West Leechburg.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg, PA 16056.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at the St Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church, Cabot with Father Ward Stakem officiating.
