Laura Kathryn "Kate" Faust

 Laura Kathryn “Kate” Kelley Faust, 88, of Saxonburg died Sunday, August 21 in the care of Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.  Kate was the daughter of the late Glenn L and Laura C Kelley of Cabot.  

Kate is survived by her daughters Laura J Faust of Hampstead, NC and Reva J Faust of Tampa, FL; granddaughter Bridget I Proulx-Schultz (Bill) of Auburn NY; great grandchildren Bill and Morgan Schultz of Auburn, NY; her sister Janet Leary (Ron) of Saxonburg; and her furry grandchildren Scout, Jelly Bean, Abby, Molly and Henry. 

Kate was preceded in death by her husband James J Faust of Sarver and daughter Kathleen L Proulx (Morgan) of Hampstead, NC.  

Kate will be remembered for her tenacity and strong work ethic; the raising of three fiercely independent daughters; her voracious reading habits; her love of gardening and her flowers; and her dedication to her beloved cats. 

Per her wishes, there will not be a funeral. 

The family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Saxonburg Public Library or Butler Humane Society.
