Leroy Renfrew, 90, of Saxonburg passed away on Monday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born May 1, 1930, he was the son of the late Clarence and Laura Bartley Renfrew.
Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He retired in 1992 from Spang & Company after 44 years of service. Roy was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxonburg. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Surviving are his daughter, Linda, her husband and their son (Leroy’s grandson); his son Roger and his wife Cathy of Fryburg, Pa; one sister-in-law Irene (David) Orwig of Killeen, Texas; and several nieces, nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores with whom he was married to for 62 years until her death in 2018; two brothers and one sister.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10 am the funeral home with Rev. James F. Neal officiating
Interment with military honors conducted by the Saxonburg American Legion # 683 will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
