Linda L. Schmid

 Linda  L. Schmid, 81, of Butler passed away on  June 25, 2026 at her home. 
 
 Born September 19, 1944 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Herbert  Hayden and Margaret Abram Hayden. 
 
Linda had worked as a CNA for St. Barnabas retiring in 2012.  She was a member of New Life Christian Ministries in Saxonburg.   Linda enjoyed taking care of everyone, supporting her daughters though all of their activities and had been very involved in the Knoch Band Boosters.
 
 Surviving are her husband, Kenneth F. Schmid, whom she married August 10, 1967, two daughters, Tracey Lee Schmid of Pittsburgh and Michele Lynn (Maurice Smith) Schmid of Butler, PA.

She is preceded in death by her parents and was the last surviving of nine siblings. 
 
 Friends will be received on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
     
 Services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 10:30 am at the funeral home. 
 
 Interment will follow in Summit Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
 
 Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
