Lois M. Risch, 97, of Sarver, passed away on January 16, 2026 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born January 28, 1928 in Sarver, she was the daughter of Lester Stark and Helen Ruediger Stark.
Lois grew up and lived on her parent's farm and later worked at the Sarver Post office until she decided to stay home and raise her family.
Surviving are two sons, Bradley (Debora Rihs) Risch of Newtown Square and Barry (Kathy) Risch of Freeport, her granddaughter, Tatum Eilzabeth Risch and her fiance Spenser Lauver, her great-grand pup Alvin and her lifelong friend Andy Korim, whom she met in 1933, when she was just five years old.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dean Risch, her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Stark and James Stark and her mother and father-in law Alvin and Florence (Macurdy) Risch.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 2-6 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Roberts officiating.
Interment will follow in Sarverville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bull Creek Presbyterian Church 224 Culmerville Road, Tarentum, PA 15084.
