Louis A. Dietz, Jr., 80 of Saxonburg passed away on April 5, 2021 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born August 15, 1940 in Natrona Heights, PA, he was the son of the late Louis A. Dietz, Sr. and Hazel Bowersox.
Louis was graduate of HarBrack High School. He retired from Saxonburg Ceramics after 42 years where he worked as a millwright. He was a lifelong modified fastpitch softball player, playing in many leagues in the area. Louis enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his great granddaughter, Lexi.
Surviving are his loving wife, Mary E. (Callen) Dietz, who he married August 13, 1960, his children, Tim (Katie) Dietz of Butler, Dave Dietz of Saxonburg, and Marcy (Regis) Boyle of Clermont, FL, 8 grandchildren; Tyler, Amber, Jacob, Lauren, Derek, Ashley, Zachary, and Kaleb, 4 great grandchildren; Lexi, Tilly, Laurel, and Corbin, and his sister, Jeanne Nicastro of Venice, FL.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Louis Brian Dietz, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.
