Marilyn Stallsmith Obituary

 Marilyn E. Stallsmith, 77 of Saxonburg passed away on  March 22, 2022 at her home. 
 
 Born August 20, 1944 in Greenville, PA, she was the daughter of the late George  Stallsmith  and Madge Martin Stallsmith.
 
 She worked as a receptionist for State of Florida and enjoyed many years in the Sunshine State. She was an active volunteer for Stray Solutions Animal Rescue, Inc. in Butler. She enjoyed rescuing kitties and playing bingo in Winfield Township with her friends. She also loved crossword and word search puzzles and watching the game show channel. Marilyn was active her health journey and enjoyed utilizing vitamins, supplements and smoothies. Marilyn was fiercely independent lady who battled back twice from cancer and recently was doing well in the Parkinson battle. Her motto: "I'm not giving up!" She will be deeply missed by her cat Tippy and the beloved late Doc. 

She is survived by her brothers, Edwin (Linda) Stallsmith of Meadville, his children Terry Stallsmith of Meadville, Wanda (Scott) Hough of TN and Mark (Becky) Stallsmith of Cabot PA and Roger (belated Nancy) Stallsmith of Meadville, his children Jodi (Roger) Shood of OH and Scott Stallsmith of OH. She will be missed by all. 

 In addition to her parents,  she was preceded by brother Gerry Stallsmith , his belated daughter Tracy McArdle and son Marty (Lynn) Stallsmith of OH and Ronald (Joanne) Stallsmith, his children Ronald (Nadyne) Stallsmith Jr of OH, daughter Erika Freedy of OH and Brent Stallsmith of OH.

There will no visitation.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Main Street, Saxonburg at 11 am. A luncheon will follow.
