Mary Louise Oswald

 Mary Louise Oswald, 78 of Saxonburg passed away on  Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Quality Life Services -  Sugar Creek. 
 
 Born October 9, 1942 in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late John  Slizeski  and Josephine Sokolski Slizeski.
 
 She worked at North Hill Passavant Hospital as a registered nurse. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Glenshaw. Mary enjoyed playing bingo, flower gardening, and spending time with her family. 
 
Surviving are her two sons, Gerald J. (Stephanie) Oswald of Saxonburg and John J. (Lynette) Oswald of Butler, her daughter, Debra A. Bower of Springdale, PA, 7 grandchildren;  Evan, Kyle, Derek, Suzanne, William,  Ross and Brittney and her sister, Elizabeth Butler of Coral Springs, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George J. Oswald, who passed away May 4, 2021.
 
  Family and friends will be received for a Memorial Mass on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 10:00 am at the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman with Father Matt McClain officiating.
 
 Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.
 
 Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude Hospital.
