Obituary
Matthew Curtis Mentch, 47 of Saxonburg passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his father's home.
Born January 5, 1975 in Natrona Heights, PA, he was the son of Warren F. Mentch and the late Deborah L. Rugh Mentch.
He was a 1994 graduate of Knoch High School. Matt was a youth counselor at Summit Academy in Herman before becoming a truck driver. He was also the owner of Mad Dog's Bar and Grille. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Curtisville. Matt was an avid Steelers fan. He loved hunting, body building, and riding his Harley. He loved good food.
Surviving are his loving father, Warren F. Mentch of Saxonburg, his sisters, Michelle S. Palmer of Saxonburg and Audrea Slater of Saxonburg, his son, Brysin Mentch of Lyndora, his nephew, Daniel Slater of Saxonburg, niece, Rachelle Palmer of South Park. He is also survived by 4 aunts, 1 uncle, many cousins and his girlfriend, Amber Brant of Saxonburg.
In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by a sister, Sonya M. Mentch
Friends will be received on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc. 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Summit EP Church Cemetery.
