Mildred Irene Ambrose

Mildred Irene Ambrose, 88 of Cabot, passed away on January 27, 2025 at The Ridge At Heritage Meadows.  Born October 13, 1936 in Saxonburg, PA, she was the daughter of Thomas Simmons and Mildred Bauman.

She worked for many years at the Mushroom Mine in Butler, PA.  Irene was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star.  She was an avid gardener and member of her church and spent much of her time pursing her hobbies. 
 
Wife to the late, William Ambrose, Arthur Gardener and Raymond Harbison.

Survived by her children, Kevin Harbison, Karen Harbison, Keith Harbison, Kathlene Harbison, Kurt Harbison and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren, 2 brothers William and Dale Simmons,1 sister Shirley Harrison.  She is preceded in death by her sisters Virginia and Marian, her brothers Wilmer and Vernon as well as her son William Ernest Burke.
