Patricia Ann Paulovich, 80, of Cabot, PA, died Friday, December 8, 2023 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, where she made her home.
She was born in Allegheny County on August 21, 1943 to Frank and Merle Crowe and was raised by her father and stepmother, Jean Crowe. She graduated from Elderton High School and worked a myriad of jobs during her career. She retired from Concordia Lutheran Ministries as an activity assistant and spent the next few years babysitting her youngest grandchildren, a job she claimed was both exhausting and rewarding.
Pat was loved by all who knew her. She had an enormous heart and was quick to offer support to anyone who needed it. She was the kind of person that others were drawn to. She also had a special way with animals, and never met a dog she didn’t adore.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, and her brothers, Richard, Victor, and Randy Crowe, and her grandson, Saige Knapp.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Paulovich of Cabot; her children, Billie Jo Knapp of Sarver, Kim (Kent) Whirlow of Valencia, Rege (Kathy Snow) Knapp, Jr. of Saxonburg, and Sharon (Kim Young) Knapp of Albion, NY; her grandchildren, Shane Knapp, Shelby (Wayne) Lonce, Kai Whirlow, and Kyri Whirlow; and her great-grandchildren, Ava Knapp, Jack Lonce and Graham Lonce. She is also survived by her siblings, Christine Mechling, Jackie Ruckel, Robert Crowe; her stepdaughter, Sharon Paulovich, and many nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made to Butler County Humane Society, the Good Samaritan Endowment Fund at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, or the charity of one’s choice.
