Paul M. Wisda

Paul M. Wisda of Cabot passed away on January 9, 2023, in his home with his family at the age of 75. 

Born April 6, 1947, in Wilburton, PA, he was the son of the late Paul A. Wisda and Eleanor Zinda Wisda.

Paul was a 1969 graduate of Bloomsburg University. He retired as a Plant Controller for Allegheny Ludlum. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi in Herman. Paul was an active member of the Roman Catholic Men’s Club and a social member of the Sarver Vets. Paul was an avid fisherman.  He especially enjoyed fly fishing in the Allegheny National Forest with his family and had a love of nature and woodworking. 

Surviving is his loving wife, Margaret Wisda, who he married on August 16, 1969.  He leaves behind his daughters, Michelle Wisda Miner and husband Andrew Miner of Brookfield, WI and Christine Wisda of Butler, PA; his four grandsons, Drew, Garrett, Reid, and Aiden; his sister, Patricia Wisda Semick and husband of Camp Hill, PA; his faithful canine companion, Toby and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish - St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman, PA, with Father Ward Stakem, OFM Cap officiating.
