Robert Flower

Robert C. Flower, 92, of Cabot, formerly of Gibsonia, passed away on December 2, 2021 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. Born November 19, 1929 in New Galilee, PA, he was the son of Carl Flower and Vesta Mitchell Flower Bob served in the US Army during Korea. He had worked as a regional sales manager for Armour Co. for 24 years, he then worked for Family Guidance for 22 years and the PA Family Institute for 12 years. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy McKinley Flower, his children, Dean (Sandra) Flower of Michigan, Sandy (Steve) Sobek of Allison Park and Mark (Laurie) Flower of Ohio, his step-children, Penny (Jim) Neil of Texas, Denitta Schille of Florida, Derek (Laurie) McKinley of Florida and Douglas (Jana) McKinley of Illinois, 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Betty Flower, his brother, Keith Flower, his sister, Mary Adelaide Finney and 2 granchildren. Friends will be received on Monday, December 6, 2021, from 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, 11:00 am at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA. Interment will follow in Hampton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Linda Connors (Former missionary to Myanmar who has returned to the states and ministers to hurting people).
