Robert Plutyk, 74, of Saxonburg passed away on January 1, 2026 at his home.
Born March 6, 1951 in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Willis Plutyk and Ethel Hilliard Plutyk.
Bob served two tours in Vietnam as a heavy equipment operator and received the Purple Heart and 2 Bronze Stars.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator throughout the country . He was a member of several area clubs and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are three brothers, Edward (Sylvia) Plutyk of Sarver, Richard (Karen) Plutyk of Saxonburg and Fredrick Plutyk of Saxonburg, three sisters, Donna Stello of Blanchard, Sandy (Tim) Flis of West Deer and Brenda (Bob) Daubner of Saxonburg and multiple nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Private interment will be in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
