Rodney "Hoss" Lang, 71 of Butler passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026 at his home with his wife by his side.
Born April 13, 1955 in Butler, PA he was the son of Dean W. Lang and Glenda Christie Lang.
He worked as a machinist for Oberg Manufacturing for 30 years. He enjoyed going to auctions, hunting and spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Bonita Lang whom he married September 27th 2003. His children Sarah (Sean) Smith of Cabot, Russell (Kelly) Lang of Butler, Daniel (Christina) Lang of Rome OH, Tony (Mylinth) Smith of Lake Dallas, TX, Brothers, Doug (Lisa) Lang of FL, AJ (Hope) Lang of FL, Grandchildren Tyler Smith, Hunter Smith, Katarina, Jonathan, Glenn Lang, Seth, Olivia and Rosalie Smith, and a collection of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Gary Lang, Larry Lang, and Jeff Lang.
