Rose Ellen "Roe" Goda

 Rose Ellen "Roe" Goda, 89 of Cabot passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at  Concordia Lutheran Ministries. 
 
 Born September 9, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Rufft and Ellen Healy Rufft. 
 
 She worked as a registered nurse for the University of Pittsburgh Hospital system and later as a school nurse for South Butler School District. She was a member of the Zion Methodist Community Church in Sarver. Roe was a Barnum & Bailey certified clown and volunteered for many community events. 
 
 Surviving are her loving sons, John M. (Amy) Goda of Bradenton, FL, Matthew E. Goda of Kailua, Oahu, HI, and Stephen A. (Tammy) Goda of Pittsburgh, and 8 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, John Goda, Jr. and 3 sisters.
 
 Friends will be received on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410. W. Main Street, Saxonburg. 
     
 Interment will follow in Butler Co. Memorial Park with Rev. Seth McClymonds officiating.
