Theresa Marie Haas, 82 years old of  Tarentum (Fawn Township) died peacefully on March 20th,
2026 at the home of her loving daughter, son in law, grandsons and assorted
pets . Theresa was married for 67 years to the late Robert J. Haas Sr., who passed away in

husband and love of her life accelerated her decline these last few months. She was preceded in
death by her daughter-in-law Kathleen R. Haas and

Claypool . Theresa is survived by her six children. Robert J. Haas Jr. of Fawn Township, Mark
Haas of Brackenridge, Michael  Dawn (Sakala) Haas of Sarver , Jude Elayne ( Karadeema)

Township. She was a grandmother to numerous grandchildren including Kyra Bargiel, Ashley
Haas, Christopher Haas, Alexandra Haas, Joshua Haas, Matthew Haas, Dylan Haas, Katlan Haas,

Haas; Lilly and Andrew Radovitch; Joseph Haas; Noah Haas; and Angelica Haas . Theresa
attended Har-Brack and was a majorette during her school years. She first met Robert Haas when
he worked at Haas Autobody in Brackenridge. Theresa lived just across the street from Haas
Autobody and would often sweep her porch to music, ensuring she could see Robert and of
course he could see her. Once that happened,  they married and raised six children.  Later in life,
Theresa worked in the dietary department at Presbyterian Senior Care Home in Oakmont during
the 1990s, where she was well-loved by residents and colleagues for her outgoing and fun nature.
She cherished living on "Haas Mountain," enjoyed gardening, and was skilled at canning and
processing vegetables from her garden. Theresa had a deep love for animals, especially cats, and
is survived by her two pet cats, “Romeo and Ollie”, as well as her late husbands pet hen named
“Black Betty”.  She also loved her daughters’  family pets, “Scrat  cat”,  German Shepard” King”
and  latest addition  a young hen named  “ Baby Betty”   Theresa's love for her grown children,
grandchildren,   great-grandchildren and any animal brought her joy throughout her life. She
loved them with all her heart and soul.
