Thomas G. Sutej

Thomas G. Sutej, 73, of Saxonburg passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born May 31, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late George Sutej and Stephania (Krotec) Sutej.

Thomas was a lifelong carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, camping, reading, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elma (Dawson) Sutej, who he married February 11, 1972, his sons, Thomas (Christine) Sutej Jr. of Saxonburg, Michael (Shana) Sutej of Saxonburg, George (Carrie) Sutej of Saxonburg and Daniel (Emily) Sutej of Freeport, 12 grandchildren, Andrew Sutej of Saxonburg, Thomas Sutej of Saxonburg, George Sutej of Saxonburg, Bryce Sutej of Saxonburg, Paul Sutej of Saxonburg, Adam Sutej of Saxonburg, Gabriel Sutej of Freeport, Marissa (Anthony) Murphy of New Kensington, Caitlin Sutej of Saxonburg, Sabrina Sutej of Saxonburg, Kylee Bender of Saxonburg and Lilly Sutej of Freeport, his brothers, George Sutej of Kemmemer, WY, Charlie (Sandy) Sutej of Freeport and Ray (Kathy) Sutej of Gibsonia, and a sister, Mary (Bob) Bittner of Evans City.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10 am at funeral home with Rev. Brian Bocian officiating.

Interment will be held at Butler County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
