Virginia Neubert

Virginia L. Neubert, 89, of Butler passed away on  January 18, 2023 at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 
 
 Born July 31, 1933 in Great Belt, PA, she was the daughter of Thomas W. Simmons  and Mildred E. Bauman Simmons.
 
 She worked as a laborer for Moonlight Mushroom and also worked at JoDe Pizza.   She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot, she enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church functions, gardening and her cats. 
 
 Surviving are daughter, Diane (David) Woodford of Kensington, OH, her siblings, Dale (Nancy) Simmons of Butler, Irene  Ambrose of Ford City, William  Simmons of Chicora, Shirley (Bob) Harrison of Winchester, VA, and her granddaughter, Myka Woodford.

She is preceded in death by husband, Kenneth E. Neubert, her sister, Marion Andrews and two brothers, Vernon Simmons and Wilmer Simmons 
 
 Friends will be received on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 4-6 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
     
 Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, 10:00 am at the St. Luke Lutheran Church ,  with  Rev. Ben Berteau officiating.
 
 Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
