Wanda J. Riemer

 Wanda J.  Riemer, 89, of Cabot passed away on June 27, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

 Born July 7, 1934 in Butler, she was the daughter of Walter Kradel and Nellie Lardin Kradel.
 
Wanda had worked as a Secretary for J.D. Miller and Sons for many years, retiring in 2001.   She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church in Cabot, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and Alahambra.   She enjoyed bowling, building puzzles, dominoes, watching hummingbirds and was a member of numerous card clubs.
 
 Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Riemer, Sr., whom she married May 21, 1955, two sons, Robert L. (Kim) Riemer, Jr. of Louisville, KY and Bruce G. (Dawn) Riemer of Cabot, two daughters, Catherine A. (Larry) Heasley of Butler and Brenda S. Bauman of Cabot, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Loyal Kradel, Howard Kradel, Walter Kradel and Richard Kradel, five sisters, Helen Bowen, Naomi Polum, Anna Marie Miller, Agnes Schmeider and Myrtle Bachman. 
 
 Friends will be received on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 2-6  pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
     
 Services will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024,  at 11:00 a.m.  at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish -St. Joseph Church,  with  Fr. Ward Stakem officiating.
 
 Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Freeport.
