Warren F. Mentch, Jr.

 Warren F. Mentch, Jr.  82 of Saxonburg passed away on  April 17, 2022 at his home. 
 
 Born March 8, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Warren F. Mentch, Sr.  and Dorothy Sweepe Mentch.
 
 Warren was a graduate of Aspinwall High School. He was a US Army veteran serving from 1961-1964.  He worked at Pullman Standard. Warren retired from the Army Corps of Engineers, retiring in April of 2004. He worked at every lock in Pennsylvania which was something he was very proud of.  Warren enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting and flea markets. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. 
 
 Surviving are his daughters, Audrea L. Slater of Saxonburg and Michelle Palmer of Saxonburg, grandchildren, Daniel Slater of Saxonburg, Rachelle Palmer of South Park, and Brysin Mentch of Lyndora, a sister, Darla Foertsch of Zephyr Hills, FL, and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah L. Mentch, a son, Matthew C. Mentch, a daughter, Sonya M. Mentch, and brother, Timothy S. Mentch 
 
 Friends will be received  on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.
     
 Services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 11 am at the funeral home with Joe Miller officiating.
 
 Interment with military honors will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
