Wilbert J. “Gooch” Foertsch “Will”, 73 of Hurricane, WV, died Saturday, August 26th, 2023, after losing his battle with ALS.
Wilbert worked on the family farm, Pullman Standard, drove tractor trailer and was a bus driver for Greyhound. He then worked as a supervisor at Panasonic Electronics in Tennessee until he retired.
He was known for having fast cars and was an excellent mechanic. He traveled the world with his partner to all 7 continents. He will be remembered for his wit and endless kindness.
He leaves behind his partner, Larry A. Calhoun of Hurricane, WV, his brothers, Vernon of Saxonburg, Errol of Butler, and Gary (Barb) of Cabot, his sisters, Leona Wills of Mars, Mary A. (George) Shuler of Butler, Karen Foertsch of Butler, Betty (Charlie) Kirkwood of Charleston, WV and Cay (Bob) Wood of West Virginia, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private in Hurricane, West Virginia.
