William Wetzel Obituary

William Henry Wetzel, 76 of Cabot, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on December 19, 2022 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born July 28, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick Robert Wetzel and Esther Emma Schreiber Wetzel.

Bill worked as a real estate inspector for Barone and Sons. He was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Greentree where he served as the treasurer and on the youth council. Willy enjoyed playing cards and taking trips to his "special place," Deep Creek, Maryland. Bill was very devoted to caring for his parents and dedicated to his work.

Surviving is his lifelong friends, Harvey Treschow of Pittsburgh and John Vagianos of Arizona and many other extended family members and friends.

There will be no visitation or services.

Private interment will be held at Jefferson Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
