Cameron J. Ashton, 16, of Penn Twp., passed away on February 1, 2017 as the result of an automobile accident.

Born May 10, 2000 in Butler, PA, he was the son of Charles Ashton and Judith Corapi Ashton .

Cameron was a Junior at Knoch High School, where he played football as a lineman and he had been on the wrestling team. He had belonged to the Troop #53 of the Boy Scouts of America in Penn Twp. and was currently enrolled at Butler Co. VoTech in the Computer Science Program. He enjoyed gaming on his computer and was aspiring to become a game programmer.

Surviving are his parents, Charles Ashton and Judith Corapi Ashton, his brother, Dalton A. Ashton and sister, Mercedes L. Ashton, his aunt, Rachel Ashton of Homestead, FL, his uncles Charles Ashton, III of Wisconsin and his biological mother, Melissa Ashton.

Friends will be received on Friday, February 3, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, 10:30 am at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA, with Rev. Kevin Bowen officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
